Refund policy

 

How do I return/exchange an item?

 

Returns:

You may return any product, with the exception of custom-made items, jewellery, perishable goods, personal care, gift cards and sale items, within (30) days of receipt.

Items must be returned unused, unaltered, and unwashed. All original packaging and labels must be returned in good condition also. Returns may only be made via shop@weddingshewrote.co.nz

Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error and/or any item that is returned more than (30) days after delivery is not applicable for a refund or exchange.

All return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer.


Exchanges:

If you wish to exchange an item please email us as soon as possible to reserve another item at shop@weddingshewrote.co.nz.

Items may only be exchanged for other items on www.weddingshewrote.co.nz. Exchanges may only be made via shop@weddingshewrote.co.nz. Unfortunately, we cannot exchange custom-made items.

  • Sale items: Sale items may not be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty
  • Jewellery: Jewellery may not be returned or exchanged unless it is faulty
  • Made-to-order items: Customised and personalised items may not be returned unless they are faulty. We cannot resell items that are made specifically for you.


What's the process?

  1. Request a return online via shop@weddingshewrote.co.nz
  2. Include proof of purchase
  3. Securely repackage your item with all original packaging and labels
  4. Write your name, phone number, and postal address on the back of the package
  5. We suggest you select a traceable and insured shipping or postage method. As you are responsible for the product until it reaches us. We do not accept responsibility for packages we do not ship ourselves. All return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer.
  6. Send your package to the returns address given to you via shop@weddingshewrote.co.nz
  7. We will advise you once we have received your goods
  8. Once your item has been received by us your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within (10) working days.
  9. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction had taken place.
  10. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from www.weddingshewrote.co.nz.

How long with the processing of my return/exchange take?

Once your item has been received by us your new item will be sent to you within (10) working days dependent if the item is in stock if it is out of stock times will vary but we will communicate these time frames with you. Once the item has been sent we will advise you of the item’s tracking number and expected arrival date.

 

What do I do if my item is faulty?

If your item is faulty or does not correspond with the item presented on www.weddingshewrote.co.nz you may return it or exchange it. Please contact us as soon as you discover the fault via shop@weddingshewrote.co.nz. Once we receive the item we will repair, replace or refund the item within (10) working days of receipt, unless communicated otherwise.

Please note in your email to shop@weddingshewrote.co.nz your preference in this regard. If the item is faulty we will refund to you the costs of returning the item and cover all shipping costs for the replacement or repaired item.
